About Grammarly

Grammarly provides writing suggestions in supported applications and websites. Its desktop guide describes reviewing and dismissing suggestions, changing language preferences and turning assistance off in selected contexts. Check the exact application you use; the presence of a desktop app does not mean every feature works in every text field.

What the paid plan adds

The Pro plan lists sentence rewriting, tone adjustments and expanded writing suggestions. Treat that as a feature description, not proof that its edits are more accurate than another product. Start with a non-sensitive email and check whether proposed edits preserve your dates, commitments and technical terms.

Price and billing

Grammarly’s published Pro pricing is $144 per member per year, equivalent to $12/month, or $30 per member on monthly billing. These are different payment commitments. Confirm the final currency, taxes, renewal terms and required seats at checkout.

A useful first check

Take an email that says a delivery date is provisional. Accept spelling fixes, but reject any rewrite that turns that date into a promise. Record accepted edits and cleanup time separately. This is a suggested evaluation task; ScoutChoice has not reported a head-to-head accuracy test.

Compare the workflow and billing choices in Grammarly vs QuillBot, then use the pilot checklist for a broader trial.
